Most of the eleven golf courses close to the city are private members’ courses, and can be more expensive than other courses in Catalonia, so it’s recommended that you plan to play on weekdays, when availability is easier and green fees are lower. If you are staying in Barcelona and want the best and most challenging golf courses, choose Maisa Bach, PGA Catalunya & Montanya (El Prat & Vallromanes are also good courses but tee times are more limited). If you want to play somewhat easier local courses then we recommend Caldes, Terramar, St Joan and Llavaneras.

Barcelona Golf Green Fees

Relocated in Oct 2001 and completely rebuilt due to the expansion of Barcelona airport. Greg Norman was appointed to build the new multi million pound 45 hole golf complex. A very private golf course. Visitors are only accepted on request with a letter of introduction from your golf club.

Situated by the coast just south of the town of Sitges. A flat golf course with few trees. Holes 16, 17 and 18 run alongside the Mediterranean, with beautiful views. This course is conveniently located for a game of golf close to Barcelona, and is always enjoyable.

This is an exclusive members’ golf course where green fees are only accepted on application. A quality golf course that has held many notable Spanish golf opens.

Designed by none other than Seve Ballesteros, this is an excellent public golf course. In places it is fiendishly difficult and tricky. Doglegs twist from elevated tees to sloping fairways. Any off line shots find the gorse, scrub and trees - lost ball!
